Chris Difford was on Gary Crowley's Punk and New Wave Show this week and below you can listen to a great mix of music and a nice wee chat with Chris about the early days of Squeeze mixing it up with the Punks and also about the latest album.
Following on from Gary Crowley's interview with Rick Buckler of The Jam a point came up that they played some shows with French band Little Bob Story. And there's a connection between Little Bob Story and the Small Faces who I posted earlier in that Little Bob Story released a fantastic version of the Small Faces' tune 'All or Nothing'.
With all the talk going on at the moment about The Jam it was great to hear Rick Buckler on Gary Crowley's show a couple of days ago. You can listen to the show below. Well worth checking out.
Don Letts was the first guest on Gary Crowley's Punk and New Wave Show yesterday on Soho Radio. In the second hour of the show Don shares memories from the early Punk days and plays tracks from the next volume of Dread Meets Punk Rockers Uptown which is due for release soon.
Check out Gary Crowley's latest Punk and New Wave Show that was broadcast on Soho Radio yesterday. Some fantastic tunes spotlight the Mod Revival and a whole lot more.
I rarely listen to the radio these days but the past number of weeks I've been listening to Gary Crowley's Punk and New Wave Show on Soho Radio. His show goes out live between 4-6pm on Tuesdays and can be caught up on via Mixcloud (all links below). Gary is on Facebook as well. The show is fantastic, not only providing great music but also great memories of the times. He has a different theme each week and that adds to the fun of rediscovery and with listener input (I've had a few name checks!) you get a wide range of musical nuggets.
