Susanna Hoffs New Solo Album Drops Next Week

Susanna Hoffs returns to her Solo work with her first album in 16 years (there are a couple of unreleased solo albums floating around, one from 1994 and another from 2000) and pretty much carries on where she left off.

During the long wait for a third solo album she has released a couple of albums with The Bangles ('Doll Revolution' and last year's 'Sweetheart of the Sun') and a couple of albums of covers with Matthew Sweet ('Under the Covers' Volume 1 and 2)
The lead single from the new album is called 'Raining' and was written a number of years ago with Mike Campbell of The Heartbreakers.

She's still doing live work with The Bangles (Here's an Interview from the end of June, and here's 'Hazy Shade of Winter' from the same day as the interview in Allen, Texas).

Mitchell Froom has produced the album, he has worked with many great bands down through the years and his cv reads like a who's who in music: Crowded House, Randy Newman, Pearl Jam, Bonnie Riatt, Richard Thompson, Suzanne Vega, Maria McKee and Sir Paul McCartney to name but a few.
