The "Sweet" Sound of Candy Hearts

It's always nice discovering something new and recently New York/New Jersey band Candy Hearts have found their way onto my musical radar.

I stumbled on their latest video, 'I Miss You', a track that's taken from their brand new album 'All The Ways You Let Me Down', and immediately fell for their infectious indie pop punk sound.

Of course I had to find out a bit more about them and so the search began. Click on the links to enjoy the music.

Formed whilst still at College in Upstate New York by frontwoman Mariel Loveland in 2010, 'Ripped Up Jeans and Silly Dreams' was the first album from the band and was a self-release.

A Split single with Sister Kisser followed in June 2011 and the band contributed two songs to it.

Their 2nd album release was on Kind of Like Records and was out in September 2011.

November 2012 saw the release of 'The Best Ways To Disappear' (a mini album of 6 tracks). The album came out on Bridge Nine Imprint Violently Happy Records (founded by Chad Gilbert, Guitarist of New Found Glory and this was the first release).

'Miles and Interstates' Single was released in August 2013. It was a Limited Edition of 500 copies.

And on June 10th they released their brand new album.

I Miss You
