We don’t hear a lot about female empowerment in country music,
especially from male artists. It’s not that 'bro-country' doesn’t value
women; it's just that their lyrics and music videos tend to focus on
appreciating girls in "cut-off jeans" and "bikini tops" over celebrating
women's achievements.
Brad Paisley provides a very positive message in the first single from his new album 'Moonshine in the Trunk', inspiring girls to rise up and be the best.
