As a wee celebration I thought we'd dig out The Cost of Living EP which contains their cover of I Fought The Law, and a reworking of Capital Radio plus at the time two newer songs Groovy Times and Gates of the West (which is one of my favourite tunes by the Westway Wonders).

45RPM: #8 The Cost of Living EP - The Clash (1979)
On this day in 1952 a chap called John Graham Mellor entered the world, he would go on to be known as Joe Strummer, front man of The Clash.
As a wee celebration I thought we'd dig out The Cost of Living EP which contains their cover of I Fought The Law, and a reworking of Capital Radio plus at the time two newer songs Groovy Times and Gates of the West (which is one of my favourite tunes by the Westway Wonders).
