40 Years of Punk & New Wave: The Sounds of 1977 #5 Playlist

It's been a couple of weeks since I did the previous 40 Years of Punk & New Wave: The Sounds of 1977 Playlist so thought I should rectify that with another blast through twenty tracks that were lighting up my teenage life. Hope you enjoy it.

Included this time around are many A-Sides, a few B-Sides, a couple of Peel Session tracks, and an album track.

 London's Burning - The Clash

The Loner - Chelsea
B-Side of the Debut Single Right To Work which was the second single to be released on Step Forward Records.

No One - Johnny Moped

Borstal Breakout - Sham 69
Single was released in 1978 on Polydor but the version on the Playlist is taken from their John Peel Session in November 1977.

A Double A-Sided second single (Peaches was the other side). On the playlist is a tv appearance where Hugh and JJ seem to have swapped instruments (and Hugh still looks like he's playing guitar)!

Your Generation - Generation X
