Cover Me Nicely - Even More Great Cover Versions

After doing my All-Time Top 50 Cover Versions I realised that there were loads of tracks that never made it into the list, so in order to put that right here's a whole load more Covers that I really enjoy (and you might also). They are in no particular order and would probably make another great Mixtape (or three!). The Original artists names are in the brackets. Click on the links to enjoy the music.

Shipbuilding - Robert Wyatt. (Elvis Costello)
Help - The Damned. (The Beatles)
Tainted Love - Soft Cell. (Gloria Jones)
David Watts - The Jam. (The Kinks)
Days - Kirsty MacColl. (The Kinks)
Walk On By - The Stranglers. (Dionne Warwick)
Backstreets - Maria McKee. (Bruce Springsteen)
Gimmie Shelter - Patti Smith. (Rolling Stones)
Hazy Shade of Winter - The Bangles. (Simon and Garfunkel)
My Way - Sid Vicious. (Frank Sinatra)
We Love You - Cock Sparrer. (Rolling Stones)
Jump - Aztec Camera. (Van Halen)
Do You Love Me - Girl. (Kiss)
Senses Working Overtime - Mandy Moore. (XTC) - I know it's bizzare!
Use Somebody - Paramore. (Kings of Leon)
Somebody Got Murdered - Chelsea. (The Clash)
He'll Have To Go - Pete Stride and Honest John Plain. (Jim Reeves)
All The Young Dudes - Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs. (Mott the Hoople - There is some debate whether or not the Mott the Hoople version can be considered as a cover version because it was originally written by David Bowie but seeing as Mott were the first ones to record and release the song therefore it cannot be considered a cover version!)

That will do for now. Maybe another point in time we'll return with some more Cover Versions.
