Two for the price of one today. As it's the anniversary of the release of the debut album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers I thought I'd share two of the singles that were represented on the album and released in the UK.
Anything That's Rock 'n' Roll reached #36 on the UK chart in 1976 and American Girl peaked at #40 in 1977. They were released in 7" and Limited Edition 12" formats (Anything That's Rock 'n' Roll 12" pictured below). The 12" releases had no extra tracks on them.
A-Side: Anything That's Rock 'n' Roll
*Video in the link is not the version that appeared on the single. The B-Side was taken from the one-sided 5 track Promo LP entitled The Official Live 'Leg that is extremely hard to find.
