Debut single by Australian Punks The Last Words was released in the UK on this day in 1979 by Rough Trade. The Single Animal World had actually been released two times previously in their homeland, first in 1977 as a Limited Edition of 500 (with Wondering Why on the B-Side) on the band's own Remand Label and secondly on a Blue Vinyl 7" by Wizard Records (with B-Side Every School Boy's Dream) in 1978. Then a year later after members of the band had relocated to London they got Rough Trade to release it (again with a different B-Side).
There's a Blog article from Wallaby Beat about the Animal World single that is worth reading - Click Here.
